Today's Marketing Question

Question:

How important is it to share my content on social media?

Answer:

It’s not important – it’s essential. Posting content to a blog and then sitting back and hoping that visitors will find it is an exercise in futility. In fact, some blogging gurus maintain that only 20% of your time should be spent on content creation, and the other 80% on promoting that content via social media! It’s that vital.

Today's Marketing Term

Term:

Affiliate Marketing

Definition:

Affiliate marketing is a form of relationship marketing where a company pays a commission to another company or individual in exchange for referral traffic (and sales attributable to that traffic). Typically, a website will include links to products on another site (usually in blog posts or articles), which will pay a small percentage of its revenue totals in return.
