Whitepaper

Definition:

Shorter than an e-book; well-written, researched paper, guide or report to address a problem and present solutions – often with the writer/organization’s product or service featured as one of those solutions. May also present recent research and statistics in text and graphical form. Often seen in a business-to-business (B2B) marketing or sales scenario – as white papers can be technical, serious and slightly academic in tone.
